Lenti per occhiali SHIELD - Fotocromatiche Viola

I have the blue frames and for the last month have been using the photochromatic lense exclusively...so far no reason to try the other ones that came with them. I have used them from bright sunshine in Italy to heavy overcast in Seattle and the tint has never felt too dark or too light. I usually wear a cycling cap under my helmet and these glasses, although quite large, still fit under the brim. I also stuck on a pair of the stick on readers at the bottom so I can read my computer. All in all very happy. You will get asked about them so be prepared for some attention.

The good:
- It is almost impossible to see the frame because of the size. You will forget that you are wearing them.
- The photochromic lenses are awesome on overcast days or in the evening hours.
- They feel rock solid.
- Ventilation is efficient enough so they never get foggy, while you still will not feel any air stream in your eyes.
What could be improved:
- The photochromic lenses keep a super slight tint in low light conditions, but it is enough to notice when cycling in the absolute dark. So I would be super happy if Spatz had added (or will offer) completely clear lenses (for a reasonable price).

Like most cyclists, i didn't need another pair as I had 4 pairs already but when I saw the shield glasses they did stand out, bought them and they are by far the best-looking glasses I`ve owned and they are great value as they come with 3 lenses, , look great and do what you expect a high end pair should do

Superb piece of kit. All set for winter with the Photochromic lense 👍🏻
