Brand new for AW25/26, the POLAR LAYER from Spatz will transform your winter riding.
Designed specificially to be worn as a mid layer (over a base layer and under a jersey or jacket), the POLAR LAYER adds the levels of extra warmth that cyclists have craved for decades. Engineered from cosy, soft polar fleece material, the POLAR LAYER traps a layer of warm air but at the same time actively transports sweat away from your body. It's like magic to wear on a cold/wet day.
Worn over the top of any Spatz base layer, you can expect unprecidented levels of warmth which belie the weight and bulk of the garment. The POLAR LAYER genuinely replaces 2-3 other garments yet is feather light and dries insanely quickly.
Cut close to fit under (or over) your bibs and sculpted to sit low at the back for maximum warmth, the POLAR LAYER will become your winter essential. It gives you the option to wear a lighter or more aero outer layer and rely on the POLAR LAYER to provide the warmth.
A 3/4 length zip allows easy use and temperature regulation on the fly, yet does not cause any discomfort if you choose to wear it next to your skin or under your bib tights. You will know it is designed for riding!
At Spatz we are lifetime cyclists. We are in the enviable position of being able to design and produce the garments that we want to wear in all conditions. The POLAR LAYER epitomise this philosophy.
