The brand-new Spatz Aquasokz (Hi version) were developed specifically for the Alpecin-Deceuninck Pro Cycling Team. The brief: create an aero-focused product that performs in wet conditions. (Click here for the Lo version.)
Made from 100% waterproof PU-coated Lycra, Aquasokz aren't necessarily designed to keep your feet dry—but to keep you fast and comfortable when the weather turns grim. They're shaped for speed, tested at the highest level, and tailored for the demands of WorldTour racing.
Aquasokz Hi have been wind-tunnel optimised at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub wind tunnel. Results show that Aquasokz Hi provide a significantly better aerodynamic performance across nearly all yaw angles (when compared to a product with similar silhouette). They are the perfect choice for any type of racing, especially in challenging weather conditions.
Note: As a specialist product, Aquasokz are tighter in the ankle area than our Windsokz and can be harder to put on at first. The fabric softens after a few uses, making them easier to apply.
Important: Roll them up your shins before putting on your cycling shoes.
Designed for Wet Speed — Created with Alpecin-Deceuninck for maximum aerodynamic performance in wet and adverse racing conditions.
100% Waterproof Fabric — PU-coated lycra keeps you fast and comfortable, even when staying dry isn’t the primary goal.
UCI-Compliant Height — Cut tall to meet regulations while offering extended coverage for maximum aero benefit.
Kevlar-Reinforced Toe — Toughened toe area protects against damage from road spray, grit, and repeated use.
Stay-Locked Fit — Dual silicone grippers and hidden Velcro fastening keep the booties secure through race-day intensity.
Well designed and thought out. Great looking.
Ii have size 42 of shoes and orderd size 38-42. I tried this on, the right one had little tear due my stretching the socks. I have tried to ride with it but due the tightness I had cramps in bolth legs. Lessons learned. Buy a size bigger than your shoes.
Had the opportunity to try them a couple of days after reception, on a chilly and damp from the night showers ride. Did the job perfectly! Kept my feet warm enough, but not sweaty, and most of all, kept front wheel road spray away!
Easy to clean, with a wet sponge and some liquid soap, to keep them white! ;)
Aero is everything for spatz obviously, so true, that they're hard to fit the first times... The material stretches a bit after a couple of use, so they're easy to put on...
Looking for buying a pair of black ones for gravel!
Silicone band stays put. Keeps me dry and fast. Must have piece of kit! Liked them so much I bought the wind socks for warmer weather
Bike racers: buy a pair of these and a pair of Fasta Lite, for your wet weather race bag all bases covered ✅
My only issue with Spatz is deciding which is my favourite bit of kit. Superb products.
