The Spatzwear 'CoolR' redefines the summer base layer. Designed at the direct request of the current Olympic Champion, the CoolR excels in warm conditions and laughs in the face of indoor training sessions.
We worked closely with our factory in Portugal to create a garment that actively transports moisture and heat away from your skin, leaving you comfortable to push harder in every session.
After testing yarns from some of the best manufacturers, we opted for a Coolmax (TM) weave which performs brilliantly when worn next to the skin.
Subtle logos in the weave and an attractive, detailed design make for a beautiful garment that will soon become your go-to base layer. A dropped hem at the rear and a close fit make for hours of comfort on the bike. The CoolR is designed to be worn under modern, aero jerseys; it will not crumple up and affect the lines of your jersey.
Cyclists have needed a summer base layer like this for decades. Here it is...

The best base layer I have ever owned. Quality is insane.
Super soft material for a base layer, I was expecting that normal scratchy/thin stuff. It's also quite stretchy, it's not your normal base layer for sure. Definitely not going to wear out any time soon either, it's holding up great to laundering and wearing. I have made it through a hot spell here in the USA, many days over 90 degrees with super humid air, still feeling good.
Excellent base layer, very stretchy, but really nice feel. Seems on the thick side but works excellently in the warmest of weather with the Squadron Jersey.
awesome bit of kit.
Perfect all round warm weather base
