The Photochromic Purple lens was developed as an all condition lens that can be worn in bright sunlight but also excells in low light conditions and on rainy days. The view through the lens is a soft yellow, but with no overpowering colour tint. The lens colour in dull light is very usable and the transition to a darker tone (as the sun hits the lens) is beautiful.
Glare is cut to shreds and clarity is truly outstanding. If there was one lens to leave in your SHIELD eyewear all year, this is it.
This lens is favoured by everyone who rides in changeable conditions. It's perfect for commuting and any type of riding where you need clarity as the light levels vary. For this reason it's a favourite of gravel and mountain bike riders too.
