Brand new and updated for 2023/4, the Spatzwear 'HEATR2' long sleeve jersey is like nothing else on the market. This limited edition version boasts a brand new mesh cargo pocket in addition to two traditional rear pockets.

The new version (with the new pockets) is a small batch limited order, available in Black and Khaki only.

A true 4-season garment. Perfect for spring, summer and autumn when layered over our various base layers, or use it as part of your layering system for all but the coldest winter days. Add our BurnR or WarmR Gilet to make a bulletproof deep winter ensemble.

After years of racing, training and riding, Spatzwear have turned jersey design on its head. The 'HEATR2' will quickly become your favourite cycling garment; you'll wonder how you've managed without it...

Designed by lifetime cyclists and a 2x Olympic Champion, the 'HEATR2' is a proper 4-season jersey. In-woven detail and texture regulates temperature like no other jersey. We've added a stretchy wind-stopping layer to the chest and rear shoulders to create a jersey that handles anything you can throw at it.

Engineered of seamless construction, each 'panel' has dedicated thickness, weave and weight to offer performance unique to this garment.

Developed to integrate with our base layers, it creates the perfect outer shell for riding in all but the most extreme weather. It is warm, dry, aerodynamic and incredibly comfortable.

3 rear pockets with striking reflective detailing allow you to carry your essentials and shine up bright in the traffic.

Used in conjunction with our CoolR, Race Layer or Basez2 base layers, it allows you to stay aero, light and warm to keep your focus on the riding, not the weather...

  • Super stretch fabric for a close, aero, yet comfortable fit
  • NEW mesh cargo pocket for 2023/4
  • Extended rear section with silicone hem gripper
  • 2 rear pockets with reflective detail
  • Long-cut sleeves with extendable wrist area to work with or without gloves
  • Moisture managing fabric
  • Thermal yet lightweight design
  • Quick drying
  • Warm where you need warmth with no unnecessary bulk or weight
  • Premium quality zipper with garage at the collar

The 'HEATR2' is designed with revolutionary inner textures and profiles to trap a layer of warm air and actively transport moisture away from the skin. Cyclists have needed a jersey like this for decades. Here it is...

Worn with our CoolR, Race Layer and Basez2 base layers, the 'HEATR2' jersey creates a layering system that suits any weather, regardless of how hard you ride.

Nobody has ever created a garment like this. It is totally revolutionary and will change your riding forever.

Size chart in images!

Please note, this is designed to be a close fitting garment. We are able to target compression in to the fabric to hold it close to the body. On fastening the zip, the jersey should feel "tight" (but obviously not restrictive). The fabric will give during use. As a guide, a rider at 178cm and 70kg can wear a Small, but it may initially feel too tight when first zipped up. Wear the HeatR as tight as is comfortable!

HEATR2 Don't hesitate!

£200 is a lot of money and I prevaricated for several weeks before finally taking the plunge, even with a cheeky discount. With a chest size of 36.5 inches, I'm right on the limit of the 93cm's of the size small and a touch under 70kg's and 173cm tall. As always with Spatz the jersey looked tiny out of the bag but the fit is perfect. The garment is of exceptional quality and I liked it so much, before I knew it I was heading out into the Welsh darkness to test the HEATR2 on the road. With a Spatz base layer it was initially a little cool but just a short few miles the jersey just comes into its own and just makes you feel quick: Look good, feel good, ride good! Cycling kit isn't usually sexy but this jersey is exactly that (In my head anyway!).
Don't hesitate, you won't regret buying this jersey and I'll certainly be back to buy another colour when available.

Mint. Thank you!

Best ever …

The jersey fits perfectly on the bike and is not so good not on the bike. First, I thought it was far to tight...

Just with a baselayer, it is perfect and the best long-sleeve jersey I ever had. Neither Assos, Rapha, Castelli, nor others are close. I used it between 8 and 15 degrees Celsius - just perfect. And you don't get wet from non-breathable membrane fabrics. Perfect fit, no slipping, just like a second skin.

Incredibly versatile and my new favourite

I’ve wanted this khaki heatr jacket for a while. Pulled the trigger and I’m not disappointed. Your body makes heat right ? Your clothing just keeps that heat in, hence you’re warm. The honeycomb weave of this jacket layered up with my spatz baselayer and burnr gilet creates a deep winter combo that’ll take you down to minus temps easy. Combined with short sleeved base the heatr will serve you into spring and deep autumn. It’s an incredible bit of kit and it looks great too. I need another I think.

Thanks very much Al!

Heatr Jacket

A top bit of kit .I've been using them for a couple of years and they are highly recommended. Does what it says on the tin so to speak. I have a couple of these and use them to commute in all weather conditions. Great on winter nights too safety wise.

Thank you very much.

Set and forget

I have been wearing the original version for 3.5 years. It looks, fits, and performs the same now as it did on ride one.

The three-pocket update makes this a no-brainer and gives me more options.

The most significant advantage of this piece (plus the race layer and BurnR gilet) is on challenging group rides in cold and/or wet weather. While others are faffing about with layers, wasting watts on half-zipped jackets, or overheating when things kick off, this system is breathable enough to just set and forget. I almost feel bad that I’m warm but not overheated, and most of the group is flustered with their gear. I don't feel bad, though; I feel great.

Please stay in business, Spatzwear.

Great. Thanks very much David.
